What types of payment does ASAP DUMPSTER & HAULING accept? we are a licensed and insured company that takes all forms of payment. Including cash, cash-app, and all major credit cards. Billing is available for pre-approved clients.

Can I schedule a pick up for Saturday or Sunday? Yes. We work seven days a week and evenings to accommodate client's busy schedules.

Do I need to be there to have the work done? No. We will give you the closest possible estimate over the phone and we will call when we arrive onsite to confirm any price changes before the work is done. Since we take all types of credit cards we'll simply call you after the job is complete for payment.

What areas do you service? We service the entire DC, Prince George's & Montgomery County area and most surrounding towns.

Do you come into the home or business to get the items? Yes, with permission from you, we go anywhere in or around your home or business to get your items. All you have to do is point the items out. We do all the heavy lifting, loading and clean-up.

Why are appointments booked in two-hour time slots? This allows our team to be prepared for unforeseen events such as: traffic delays or jobs that are larger than expected. Our team will call you 15-30 minutes before arrival to let you know we are on the way.

Can you give me an exact price before I book a job? Our price is based on the amount of room your junk takes up in the truck and includes all labor, hauling, and disposal/transfer station fees. It is difficult to get a good idea of the amount of room your junk will take up without seeing it first. Our team will give you a free upfront estimate before any work begins.

What is involved in removing junk safely and legally? We hold all of the permits to safely and legally dispose of your junk and unwanted items properly. Many city ordinances and transfer stations (city dumps) have restrictions on certain items that you can dump. We take on some special costs to dispose of items with restrictions (such as refrigerators and tires). For example, refrigerators contain freon, a chemical that is hazardous to the ozone, and there are special requirements in order to dispose of it properly. To keep our landfills clear we donate or recycle as much as possible. Unfortunately, many of our competitors simply don't follow the same standards, and that is one thing that sets us apart from them.

Why should we choose you for our junk removal needs? Don't risk using some random guy with a trailer that you found on craigslist—the people posting these ads are rarely insured, they perform their services as a "side job", and they are often not professional or reliable. We are professionals at what we do. In addition, we're much cheaper than our competitors, and we are fully insured, so there is nothing to be worried about. Finally, we always come in teams of two, which makes our service more affordable, professional and safer choice when it comes to loading, cleaning up, hauling away, and disposing of your junk properly.

Why would I use your service rather than a dumpster or roll-off bin? Our team will arrive at the scheduled time, do all the labor and clean-up and only charge you for the space your items take up in our truck. Dumpsters arrive when they are available, sit on your property and you have to do all the loading and clean-up yourself. You also pay for the entire container, no matter how much you fill.

What items don't you take? Chemicals (solid or liquid), oil, gasoline, asbestos, and liquid paint.

What can you remove? We are able to remove anything non-hazardous that two people can lift, such as furniture, appliances, construction materials, renovation debris, yard waste, etc.

Are you licensed and insured to do this work? Our company, trucks and employees are fully licensed, and insured.

How much lead time do you need? Time slots fill up quickly so we recommend calling in advance. When you call we will let you know our availability in your area.

How do you accept payment? We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, as well as cash. We offer invoicing for our preferred commercial clients and customers who have established a credit relationship with us. We prefer that you do not pay in cash for the safety of our drivers.

Can you do jobs after normal business hours? Special arrangements can be made if required.

What do you do with all that junk?  We recycle over 60% of the items we remove such as paper, wood, metal, plastic, or computer equipment. Other items are frequently sorted and donated to local charities.  The remaining junk is taken to be properly disposed at the transfer station or landfill.

What should I do with hazardous materials? Because we are not licensed to carry hazardous materials, you should call your local county recycling or waste management center for proper protocol.

What is the value of your service? We help customers to get rid of unwanted items by removing them from wherever the items are located, taking the items to be properly recycled or disposed of the same day. We save customers the time, money, and aggravation that is associated with any alternative. We are charged to dispose of the items just as you would be. Our pricing includes all labor, disposal fees, fuel, travel time, etc.

What is the difference between your service and a roll-off? Our team does all the labor and clean up, removing the items from wherever they are located. We charge based on how much space the items take up in our dump truck. Dumpsters sit on your property for extended period of time, and you must do all the loading yourself. You also pay for the entire volume of dumpsters, no matter how much you fill.

What is the size of your truck? Our truck is 14' long.

Can you provide us with a donation receipt for tax purposes? Because many donation centers are picky about what they can accept, we cannot guarantee that your items will be donatable. We recommend that you call your local charity first if you are interested in obtaining a tax deduction.

What is Considered Curbside? Curbside loads are items located in front of your home or property.

How do I give feedback? We welcome feedback from all of our clients, as we are always trying to improve our services. Please call or email our office to share your experience with one of our customer service representatives.

Do you offer discounts? We offer a referral discount that entitles the client to 10% off your next junk removal service when you refer a new client to our services. We also offer discounts to First Time Customers, Seniors, Active Military Personnel, and Disabled Residents.

Do you do demolition work? We do light demolition. We will take apart or cut up anything to be loaded on our trucks. With something like concrete, we do not break material. Prior to our arrival it must be broken and ready to load. We do however cut up things like drywall/sheet rock, cabinets etc."
